The directorial team of Tom Tykwer along with Andy and Lana Wachowski attempted an ambitious project with David Mitchell’s novel Cloud Atlas. Many have criticized the film but Cloud Atlas brought art-house to the Sci-fi genre and makes it to the Top 10 Movies of 2012.
